Colorado Trail - July 8, 2025

The rest of segment 6. This day took me from the Aspen Campground near Jefferson, CO up and over Georgia Pass, and finishing at the Gold Hill TH in Breckenridge. It was an epic downhill from the top of Georgia Pass to CO-9. The trail at the top of Georgia Pass was in great condition and allowed the entire pass to be ridden.

This was Charley’s last day on the trail. I was sorry to see him go. We had great conversations about vocabulary words (recalcitrant, insouciant, feckless), the one South Park episode I’ve seen, graduate school, parenting and families
